Just a reminder that we have a 2:00 dismissal today and tomorrow, Oct. 27th and 28th. We will have afternoon PK both days. Parent/Teacher conferences will be from 5-8pm both days. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open during conferences as well, this year it is located in the HS library/Meeting room.

Red Ribbon Week is October 25th-October 29th! Mrs. Willhite is happy to bring drug prevention week back to Franklin! SADD is doing big things this year to educate our youth on making good choices!

Lots going on next week- Red Ribbon week begins on Monday. SADD has planned some dress up days to help us remember to make healthy decisions. Thursday students can dress up in their costumes- please remember to make sure they are appropriate for school, no bloody or gory costumes are allowed. Some costumes come with weapons, if yours does, please leave it at home for the day. We hope to see everyone at Parent / Teacher conferences this week. Our Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the evenings during conferences for you to visit, this year it is in the HS library( also known as our new meeting room). Finally, there is no school on Friday- enjoy the long weekend!

Avid sports fans…this is for you! 2021-2022 All Season Sports Family Passes are now available. They are non-transferable, admits the bearer and family, and are valid for regular season home games (Franklin or Waverly). Cost is $50. Checks can be made payable to Franklin High School. Cash accepted, too. They will be available for purchase at home games and in the main office. Thank you for supporting our student-athletes! It means a great deal to them to see the bleachers packed!

Students in our Ag Leadership class will be supporting our community by picking up trash. You might see these kids around the area during this school year.

Pep rally tomorrow to celebrate our JH Boys CC team and Aliviah Colwell and Natalie Long for making it to State!!! Pep rally starts at 2:30 in the FHS gym. Parents are welcome to attend. Please wear a mask.

Successful day in Viper Country between the JHCC making it to state and the Fresh/Soph volleyball team winning second place in their tournament!! Also, congratulations to Ashlee Brown for being the Best Server in today’s tourney and Faith Greathouse for being the 3rd Best Server! It’s a great day to be a Viper!! Also, one of our Viper students, Jacob Carter, plays soccer for LuHi and they won Regionals today!! Congratulations!!
