This morning, we had two ambulances come to the school for a staff medical emergency. We just want to make sure to communicate the reason for the presence of emergency medical responders at the school.

9th grade civics students got to roleplay as members of Congress by serving in committees to review proposed legislation!
7th grade geography students were visited by Mr Matt Walsh, a geologist and map maker for a major oil company. The students learned about the factors that help him create maps of potential oil reserves. Thank you, Mr. Walsh for sharing your expertise with the students!

There will be a player/parent meeting for any 5th or 6th grade boy interested in playing basketball this winter on October 19th at 4:00 pm in the Waverly Cafeteria. Coach Ryan will go over the schedule and rules for the team. All forms and fees must be collected through the junior high/high school office at your school.
