I wanted to inform everyone of a change to our lunch menu for next week. We will be working on our natural gas supply line to the buildings at 110 State, which will affect our capabilities to prepare “hot lunches.” We will be offering sandwich and wrap options for next week. To be clear, there is no danger for our students with the natural gas line being shut off. If you have any questions, please contact the office at 217-675-2395.

We had a highly productive first day with our staff! ChangeBridge Consulting generously donated their services to provide an excellent professional development session for our staff.

In order to enhance safety and security for students and staff, students will not be carrying their backpacks or trappers with them during the school year. New lockers have been put in over the summer that will allow for ample space for students to store their belongings during the day.
We will have a grace period during the first two weeks to allow students to adjust to this policy.

As summer is coming to an end, Mrs. Lancaster would like students and staff to send in pictures of everyone's summer travels to help remember all the fun that was had. The images will be used to create a video that will be presented on the TV in the lobby and online.
